Jaclyn is a New York City based yoga instructor. She grew up inspired by the healthy lifestyle of her parents. She started out as a recreational runner, completing the NYC Marathon and several other races. Throughout her years of running she endured many injuries, leading to many sessions of physical therapy, visits to chiropractors, doctors, massage and stretch therapists. In between all her running, cycling and strength training she practiced yoga and Pilates here and there mainly just to stretch. Amazed by other students flexibility and strength she started to practice yoga more regularly.
Her love for yoga was not just about the physical practice but how it made her look and feel. No more injuries, visits to doctors and therapists, extreme fatigue or soreness. Her posture changed, she lost a few pounds, and felt stronger and more flexible than ever before. She learned how to use the physicality of the practice and the control over her breathe to cultivate her inner peace not only on the mat but off the mat as well. Jaclyn wanted to share this practice with everyone around her; as the benefits were immeasurable.
In 2013 she completed her 200-hour teacher training at Yoga Works NYC, Prenatal Yoga Training with Mary Barnes at Pure Yoga and Mat Pilates Certification through Equinox.
Jaclyn teaches small group and private classes in New York City. Her goal is to give her students all the tools they need to feel like the best version of themselves through yoga and Pilates. To help build strength, develop flexibility and mobility, improve posture, build confidence and connect to their breathe.
